Attraction is such an intuitive, almost magical thing -- it's sad to see insecure "superstraight" people portraying themselves as somehow able to discern whether a person is trans, and to experience zero attraction to them if they know. I know that a lot of people using the term are alt-righters and "gender critical" transphobes using it in bad faith, but I worry for the impressionable young people who might adopt it or think it' s a real thing. But I imagine that for some of those folks, all it will take is being out in the world and meeting a few smoking hot trans people to slowly realizing biology and attraction are nowhere near as simple as they've been told.
