Good question! I think I'm a nonthreatening male to cis guys. Someone they can still project some of the emotional openness that they would only show to women, but without the danger of being seen as predatory or sexual. In the same way that I'm a nonthreatening male to cis women, who then use that lack of threat to sexualize me or be overly familiar (which they also do to some cis gay guys).
