What this kid desperately needs is community -- Autistic community. Work with him to find meet up groups, online spaces, events, and places to socialize with other actually Autistic kids like himself, in whatever ways feel safe for him and will keep his digital privacy and the like safe. Neurotypical people have traumatized him and left him feeling broken and scared -- his reactions are very rational given his experiences. We heal from this shame together. He needs to find his people.
