I hope I never have to hear another Catholic person claim that Francis is “great” on LGBTQ issues ever again. Sadly, I know that I will. Thank you for writing this. Straight people who want to believe that life is getting better for queer people all around the world sometimes prefer to ignore these obvious, flagrant, heinous realities, and we have to signal boost them as much as possible, and make it clear they are absolutely unconscionable.
