I lived on Granville for years, and you’re absolutely right it’s not all white by any means! I’m talking about the overall demographics of the neighborhoods on paper as a whole. Whiter and richer definitely doesn’t mean it’s all white or all rich. Just more so than Uptown. And the closer you get to Roger’s Park the less homogenous it is, though it’s gentrified a lot in the ten years I’ve been here, as Loyola has snapped more and more property up and more condos and etc have been churned out.
