I’m so sorry your former partner did that. It sounds like it was both invalidating and accusatory, and frankly it’s a really common transmisogynistic misconception to say that trans women have ever had “male privilege”. When an individual trans woman tells me that she used to, or does, I’ll trust her experience — but the vast majority of trans feminine people I have known have been pretty resounding in that their life, even pre-transition, was filled with experiences of oppression, not privilege.
