It's always interesting to me that the people who bring up FGM as somehow incompatible with an understanding of transmisogyny are never people doing any actual organizing to prevent female genital mutilation, nor do they know anyone who has been affected by it or live anywhere near any part of the world where it's more commonly practiced. I'll be listening to the trans & cis women who live in those parts of the world, thank you.
