Thank you for sharing this with me. I have no regrets about it so far! Five years out from it, I have a full-time clinical assistant professorship that is entirely teaching focused, and I'm also writing books about psychology for a wide/lay audience. It's much more satisfying to me than the unfulfilling research work I used to do.
