Thank you for this, James. The anger and pain is so deep and has been going on for so many months now that I sometimes get numb to it. It's a background radiation that just taints the days. It's important for me to be reminded of who I am angry with -- and staying on the line demanding change. Seeing the massive protests shaking Tel Aviv this weekend from Israeli citizens who are also fed up with the slaughter being done in their name gave me a bit of hope that Netanyahu will be forced out. And then there's this mess of an election stateside... our government is so rotted through its core right now that it often feels we have no recourse. Having just paid taxes, it hurts so badly to know that those funds are going toward murder. This can't happen in our names, either. I'm so thankful for the students, faculty, community members, and others rallying on these campuses, and to get to join them. It's truly helping me feel sane! And see some hope.
