Thank you so much for this comment! Are we twins??? It’s so validating to hear from someone else who adopted the same kind of approach to money after growing up in a shaky-feeling situation. I’m slowly learning to put myself out into the world, and am letting myself make more little purchases here and there that bring me joy and new experiences. And trying to be relaxed enough with money that I can be more generous with it, too!
