I am really interested in the idea that laziness can occur when wanted and unwanted tasks are bundled! and your example of how laziness can lead to streamlining of work is so apt! “Work smart not hard” is definitely an adage I live by and encourage my students to adopt. And like you, I have my doubts about evil existing — though there are some people and acts I just can’t seem to understand through any other lens.
