Thank you so much James and Chloe! I hope it didn’t come across as me claiming to believe these things about masculinity! Intellectually I know men can be delicate and beautiful and lovely and adored, and that I in my masculinity can deserve to be seen that way too — but oof, internalized stereotypes do a number on us, don’t they? So even though I see other men and masculine people as lovely, I worry that everyone sees my changes as me throwing away the loveliness I had. Thanks for the reminder that the real me is lovely too. :)
