Wow, this is so vivid. And you're right, Link is just a little kid being subjected to these painful, frightening, and most importantly probably, uncontrolled horrors. Just because the horrors of gender dysphoria and being made to capitulate to our assigned binary role is more mundane doesn't make it any less of an ongoing horror. It's so easy to discount what a number it really does on us because we know nothing else. Quite the bad trip all this gender bullshit.
